Taking a short break from the series of articles on wakesurf board design with this post. It’s funny, I get some nasty comments on the blog from certain folks that I mostly delete. I’m glad that the competitors aren’t the same haters that the corporate Jerk-O’s or the star struck fans are, or Chase would be SOL in Oroville.
Long story short: the folks at Wakeshredder.com are towing back from the Washington contest, filming along the way, Chase is trekking along with them. At the Shasta stop, Chase went to do a huge ocean style air reverse and his foot slipped off his board, giving him a nasty cut on his shin and also breaking his wakesurf board. This is the picture from Sean of Wake Shredder.
Chase needed some help and trying to find epoxy and 6 oz up in no man’s land, without a car or transportation is pretty tough, so he gave me a call, knowing that my dad and I have a ton of stuff for just such work. Chase and I compete hard against each other, but neither FlyBoy Wakesurf nor I want to see Chase or Shred Stixx participation in the filming or podcasts reduced, so…
My dad packed up a care package so that I can help Chase fix his board, at least long enough to complete the filming and road trip. The sport is big enough for all pro riders and we don’t have personal differences, nor would we want to see anyone lose riding time so that some shameless corporate type could make another buck.
We’re on it for Chase or anyone that rides at this level and will always be there to support a brother in need. The care package I took to make sure that Chase was riding today for the filming. Sandpaper, two different epoxies, 6 oz e-glass, mixing stick and bucket, scissors…everything needed to get a board back into action!
Be sure to look for Chase and myself in the upcoming video footage by both Wake9 and Wake Shredder…and if you’re one of those hater folks, just shut up, this sport doesn’t need you.
Back from Oroville and my 5 min epoxy didn’t hold through the day, but luckily Chase had some suncure that he sealed up the patch with. The new Tige had an exceptionally steep wake, not good for surface tricks, but killer for airs. As Robert was saying, we were catching “yards” and the boat indicated we were boosting 3 feet up. I’m looking forward to the video and pictures.

I am on the 1st day of a auto detox diet plan. I haven’t had a affair to eat all day and I’m STARVING!! I cannot appreciate how individuals say that they did not feel athirst assuming this. I’m aswell a bit anemic and all-a-quiver and like I said, this is alone the antecedent day. I’m not a ample alone or huge eater either. I’m not assertive how diffuse I wil last. At the accomplishment of the day I am craving myself which can’t be an accomplished thing. I’ll try to stick at it though, I’m just acquisitive that the blackout and weakness is traveling to abandon or I will not accept the adeptness to apply on my plan on Monday.

I’ve noticed the other day that the majority of web 2.0 pages including Hubpages and Quizilla have switched into no follow sites. Does anyone know where there is a valid set of web 2.0 web-sites that will still have do follow hyper-links? All the best.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
