USA Wakesurf Nationals day 3

Going into day 3 of the USA Wake Surf Nationals, men’s pro surf, James Walker on his Flyboy Wakesurf board was seeded first, with Keenan Flegel seeded second and Chase Hazen seeded third. James also rode in skim and was seeded fourth! Lots of killer rider for James Walker. It’s a tight contest with those folks. You can find all of the seeding at the CWSA.org site covering the USA Wake Surf Nationals

Now tomorrow the seeding will change, as it’s based upon cumulative points. James didn’t get his back big, but Chase hit a shuv to 180 and Keenan did a shuv in and shuv out. Those are big combination tricks which score well. The water was very rough, so it made it hard for the guys to hit big tricks, but the riding was amazing. James nailed down an oillie 7, a frontside surface 180 to backside surface 540 and a surface reverse. They all did various grabbed airs.

The men’s and women’s skim say more amazing riding. Bri Cheml tossed out a back big, we saw back bigs and switch back bigs, plus 3 shuvs. It was great riding.

We were able to video James Walker’s surf run and hopefully will have it posted on YouTube and linked here in a few minutes!

There were also lots of boards that will show up at your retailer soon being ridden, Cambell Erickson’s Signature board from Ronix
