It’s not offically the first day of the USA Wake Surf Nationals, it was just the meet and greet and to sign the waivers and get the bag of goodies that includes our penny’s for the wakesurf contest. This part of Florida is gorgeous, but also seems to be the land of cheap gas and golf carts! If you’re from Northern California, you’d likely swoon over seeing gas at BELOW $3 a gallon! Anyway, the event is going to be a huge departure from the normally RIDICULOUSLY boring wakesurf event, they’ll have a water slide, 27 feet tall we heard, plus the folks from Univeristy of Florida will be running a winch and they’ll have SUP’s around. The plan is that everyone gets to ride at least twice and the pro’s three times! Lots of fun when we aren’t wakesurfing.
