In a hard fought battle, James Walker edged out Keenan Flegel and Jimmi Sparling in the men’s pro surf division at the Koocanusa Wakesurf Challenge. The Koocanusa Wakesurf Challenge is one of the stops in the Centurion World Series of Wake Surfing. James has nailed down two first place finishies in this series and there are only two left. The next stop is the 10K Lakes in Minnesota and that event is pulled by a Nautique G23. That will be a big change from the Enzo 244 to the G23, but it will be great fun.
Here is a quick picture of the podium from the Koocanusa Wakesurf Challenge. James received a cool driftwood trophy, so fitting for a contest in Canada!
The Enzo 244 had quite a bit of ballast, as you can see from this picture and made a great wake for the event. James indicated that the length wasn’t quite there to allow him to do a 1080, but he did land two big spins and a 720 among other wakesurf tricks
Thanks so much for following along and for sharing on our celebration of James second win in the Centurion world series of wake surfing
