All FlyBoy Wakesurf Boards are made in the USA, in fact here in Northern California. With the economy suffering and less than 12% of the GDP coming from manufacturing, we here at FlyBoy Wakesurf are proud to do our part to stimulate the economy and to keep manufacturing jobs here in the USA. Sure, we could make more money by building in Asia, but we’re about wakesurfing and having fun behind the boat, not squeezing the next dollar of profit from outsourced manufacturing overseas.
I was surfing the web and found this article at: http://www.americanprideamericanproducts.com/archived/10-reasons-why-you-should-buy-american
I’ve copied it below for your consideration.
All of us have a variety of different reasons for the things we purchase, whether it be on sale, cheap, or just impulse. I buy American whenever I can and will search through a variety of similar products to find an American product. With the recession and everyone trying to save money and justify every purchase, I got to thinking, what are some of the reasons I buy American?
10. It Helps The Environment
With all the debate about our environment, the cost of oil and other fossil fuels, and the lax environmental policies of foreign (developing) countries, why not purchase a product made in the United States. You can limit the environmental impact of using fossil fuels, lower transportation costs (which lowers your cost), and know that the EPA is keeping a close watch on all factories and their impact on the environment, all by purchasing an American product.
9. It Helps Contribute To The American Economy
When you purchase an American made product, you buy more than just a product. You’re buying into the American dream and into America itself, because your dollars go to pay the workers who take their salaries and purchase other goods and services. The more that we invest into our own products the more that we help our economy through the goods and services provided that everyone utilizes. The more revenue we send overseas to import non-essential products keeps us from helping each other at home.
8. It Helps Our Educational System & Infrastructure
Unless you purchase a product online, you pay sales tax on every item you buy (although that is getting more difficult online). That tax, other revenues from purchasing products, and income tax from the American workers who benefit from your patronage, help our local, state, and Federal governments to spend money on worthwhile projects such as education and infrastructure. We certainly need both to continue our technological and economic growth into the 21st century.
7. It Helps Foster Growth And Development
Under capitalism, when a particular area is growing and needing goods and services companies compete with one another and the consumer benefits immensely. With profit on the line, companies are encouraged to develop new technologies and better ways of doing things to streamline paperwork and other processes that limit maximum profit. When companies take the time to reinvest into themselves, they become perched to take advantage of new ideas and markets, which encourages growth and jobs.
6. It Helps To (Potentially) Keep Your Taxes From Raising
While going through economic downturns, all government revenues suffer. State and local governments are forced to deal with less sales tax revenue as consumers save money by not purchasing non-essential items. All the while the Federal and some state governments are forced to deal with less income tax from citizens who have lost their jobs and cannot find other gainful employment. What many states have looked at doing is raising taxes to make up for the lost revenues to improve their finances. Unfortunately this method doesn’t always have the intended effect, however it remains an option for most. With more revenues coming in the form of income taxes from people gainfully employed, many states and whether the downturn quite well (that is assuming some fiscal responsibility exists in the state capitol).
5. It Helps Ensure Job Security
It doesn’t matter in what sector of the economy in which you work, you benefit from other Americans working. You need someone to purchase your companies product, service, or want you to train their future employees. Without a strong, vibrant economy many business would simply shut down. Think about many old ghost towns that you know of, when the largest employer, often the only employer, shut down the town went with it. That is the same on a larger scale, the more Americans you can get and keep working the better for you and your job.
4. It Helps Give A Sense Of Patriotic Pride
Have you ever looked at a product (especially one that broke) seen where it was made? How great of a feeling is it when you pick up a quality product, with its durable feel and quality constructed look, and you see that its Made in the USA? I would say that often you get a sense of pride come over you and think how nice it is that America still knows how to manufacture quality. Just remember that Made in USA, is more than a country of origin, it’s a way of life.

3. It Helps To (Potentially) Lower The National Debt
With all the spending in D.C. and even at some state capitols, this one seems to be quite a stretch. However, this goes back to the revenues from working Americans and American based companies. With America having one of the highest corporate income tax rates in the world, and with their workers all contributing to retirement, taxes, and other items, the government is going to see higher revenues. With some fiscal responsibility instilled into the decision makers at all levels, potentially we could lower our debt in a matter of years.
2. It Helps To (Potentially) Save Money
When you purchase an item, you hope to get your “money’s worth”. Often with cheap (mostly foreign) items, the item has long been discarded before its true value is shown. One quality item can and should outlast many similar, cheaper items, and that difference comes from the mentality of the company. Often companies sacrifice worker quality and material quality in the attempt to put more products down the assembly line and out to consumers. All this does is put quality workers (mainly those of developed countries) out of work and leaves and inferior product on store shelves. Put simply, buy quality, buy it once.
1. You Get A High Quality Item
This reason and the previous reason go hand in hand, but one cannot over emphasize enough the importance of quality. With regulation over materials and worker safety, American products are safer for the consumer and a better work environment for the worker. American workers take pride in their company and their country, understanding that hard work with be recognized, rewarded, and allow a chance for advancement. True American companies know, workers are not expendable and quality is not negotiable.
So there you have it, 10 reasons why I think you should buy American. So for your next purchase, make Made in USA a requirement and help out your country. I know there will be many other opinions on this list, I would love to hear of your reasons, justification, or other comments on this list. Have a great day.
We here at FlyBoy Wakesurf Boards couldn’t agree more, we encourage you to buy American.

Social networking sites are good choice such as twitter, facebook, they have grate traffic every day. But cause the audience are not segmented, the converion my be very low. You may also find some sites related to your products or service, publish some articles with link back to your sites.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
