James Walker in Supreme V226 boat show video

It’s that time of year again, no not waorking with spread tow carbon fiber, it’s boat show season! Of course what’s a boat show booth without the ubiquitous looping video! NOTHING of course! The good folks at Supreme asked if we could get something together with James Walker wakesuring and our trusty Supreme V226, plus …

James Walker wakesurfing slab style

We got a chance to take the Supreme V226 out again and do a little wakesurfing, this time, slab style, over the weekend. Now you know that James Walker can wakesurf just about anything, but take a minute and watch the YouTube video at the end where James is pumping and carving this puppy up …

Best wakesurfing boat

We were out in the shop working on the latest composite sandwich wakesurf board and looked up at our Supreme V226 nestled into the confines of the other side bay. It struck us that we haven’t posted about one of the best wakesurfing boat in awhile.  Now calm down we aren’t saying that ours is the …

Inland Surfer Wakesurfing video for 2012 featuring James Walker

The good folks at Inland Surfer put together their first wakesurfing video of the year featuring James Walker, amongst the other Inland Surfer team riders. Some wakesurfing footage from last year. Both Keenan Flegal and James Walker are riding wakesurf boards that are constructed using a composite sandwich. Enjoy the video! It was fun to …

Wakesurf board stiffness

So you’ve seen the pictures and the quick video of the thin and super stiff wakesurf board prototype and that has been quite enlightening. This prototype Flyboy Wakesurf board is very stiff, almost crazy stiff and the deck is hard, so too is the bottom. We’ve built wakesurf boards with a certain amount of flex …

Wakesurfing January 2012

Well what better way to welcome the New Year than with some wakesurfing?! Oh! and Happy New Year! As we mentioned in the build thread, which is still in process, we took the thin and mega stiff wakesurfer out for a little cold water wakesurfing. We were quite happy with the way the board rode …

Wakesurfing the super thin wakesurfer

We are jumping ahead for a second to show some wakesurfing on the super thin wakesurfer project. It’s not quite ready for prime time, but it was very fast and responsive! We’re already planning 3 G of the thin wakesurfer! We also were fortunate enough to host Laurent and Pan of Paradise Custom Wakesurf Boards …

Double off axis wakesurfing

One more set of wakesurfing sequence shots showing the double off-axis wakeboard grabbed aerial. This trick is hugely risky and difficult, because the board comes down sideways and on edge. If you aren’t fast enough, it will rail you backwards away from the boat and that part of the wakesurfing trick, where the board is vertical …

Wakesurfing frame grabs

We have a really funky frame grab program.  It does allow us to convert some of the wakesurfing video footage to jpeg’s though!  Try and ignore the fingertips in the upper part of the frame and the rather poor quality of the image.  So one set of wakesurfing sequence shots of a Tail whipped, double …

Wakesurfing the 2012 23 foot MB B52

We got a chance to do a little wakesurfing behind a brand new 2012 MB B52 23 foot boat over the weekend. Our good friend Drew Richardson of surffresh.com sold this new boat and had the folks at Larson Marine install a new wakesurf specific ballast upgrade installed. Drew flew out from Orlando to Northern …
